Fall 2020 UC Admission Application is Now Open

First year and transfer students can get started on their Fall 2020 UC admission application at admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/apply-now.html.

Please note: The University of California admissions website has a new look and a new web address. The previous URL, universityofcalifornia.edu/apply, currently redirects to the new website, but we encourage you to update your records, bookmarks, etc.

• Students should report all academic course work and grades exactly as they appear on their transcript(s). They should not work from memory.
• Students who studied outside of the United States should report all courses and grades exactly as they appear on their international record, not their U.S. high school record.
• Students are encouraged to utilize the “additional comments” section on the UC application, which appears after the academic history section. There, they can explain any situation that occurred during their academic history that may have impacted their performance or ability to enroll in courses. This is very helpful to the evaluation staff, because it helps them to better understand the applicant’s situation and environment.
