WHAT THE SLR LOOKS LIKE IN YOUR STUDENT CHECKLIST, IF REQUIRED:

If the Statement of Legal Residence appears on your student checklist, you must complete it if you have not done so, even if the due date has passed.

• You need to fill out the SLR questionnaire to make sure that you are charged the correct tuition rate for California residents. The information you provide will be used to determine if you and your parents meet the requirements to pay in-state tuition starting from the first day of classes.
• If you don't submit your SLR or the requested documents, it will affect your financial aid and you will have to pay higher fees as a nonresident.
• Rest assured, the deadline for submission has been extended. We kindly ask you to submit your applications right away using your checklist by navigating through your student Connect portal.
