HOW TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
Connecting with your Career Specialist is easy through Handshake. Here’s how you can schedule your first appointment:
1. LOG INTO HANDSHAKE
Use your student credentials to log in at https://app.joinhandshake.com/login.
- You will be prompted to select your school – type in Merced and University of California, Merced should pop up.
- Please use your ucmerced.edu email and password to log in.
- Remember not to create an account with your personal email.
2. NAVIGATE TO APPOINTMENTS
Click on the career center tab on the left side of your home page. Then select “Appointments” > “Schedule a new appointment” > choose your school and appointment type.
3. SCHEDULE A MEETING
Choose a time that works for you and book your session with your career specialist. You can book in-person (KL 184) or zoom sessions.
