Marketing Department Keeps a Hand on the Brand

Browse the site for:
- Standards and best practices that ensure all digital and print communications under the UC Merced name are professional and align with the university’s brand strategy.
- Approved colors and fonts.
- Proper use of the university logo.
- A style guide for text (example: Don’t use “UCM.” Ever.)

UC Merced Connect
UC Merced is more than a growing and vibrant university. It’s an experience. A journey. And starting this fall, everyone on that journey will have a new way to Connect. The offices of External Relations and Information Technology are working with the campus community on UC Merced Connect, an information portal that pulls together what you need and want to know on an easy-to-use mobile app and streamlined desktop. With UC Merced Connect, campus and UC events, dates and deadlines will be only a couple taps or clicks away. The app will shape itself to the user’s needs, whether that user is a faculty or staff member, student, or student-to-be. Connect will also replace Happenings with a powerful communication channel for the campus community. The app will be available from the App Store or Google Play Store. Get ready to stay connected while on the go with UC Merced Connect!
