Living Learning Communities (LLCs)
UC Merced Living Learning Communities unite students who have similar interests and educational goals with academic, social and personal resources across the campus community. Incoming Spring 2022 students may request to be assigned to a Living Learning Community when they make selections in the Housing Options and Learning Communities page during the housing application process. Requests will be approved based on bed space availability. These programs have specific structures that facilitate interactions with other students, faculty and staff, as well as community outreach components. Some examples of structured activities are field trips, service-learning projects, cluster classes and cohort and community-based social activities.
